Patrol
PATROL
The Patrol Division is the most visible and essential function of the Prineville Police Department. As the first line of service to our community, this division is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens within city limits.
Our team is composed of:
- 10 Patrol Officers
- 4 Patrol Sergeants
- 3 School Resource Officers
- 1 Crisis Response Team Officer
- 2 Community Service Officers
- 2 Detectives
The Patrol Division is responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
- Citywide patrols
- Emergency response to 911 calls
- Traffic enforcement
- Accident investigation
- Criminal investigations
- Crime prevention
- Animal control
- Security services such as vacation house checks
Officers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
