Patrol
PATROL
The Patrol Division is the most visible function of the Prineville Police Department. It is our first line of service to the citizens. Our patrol division is staffed by 8 Patrol Officers, 4 Patrol Sergeants, 3 School Resource Officers, 1 Crisis Response Team Officer, and 1 Community Service Officer.
The Patrol Division patrols and responds to all calls for service within the city limits. Patrol Officer are responsible for a variety of functions within the Police Department including City Patrols, Emergency Response to 911 calls, Traffic Enforcement, Accident Investigation, Criminal Investigation, Crime Prevention, Animal Control and Security Checks such as Vacation House Checks.
Officer can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
